His largest acting role to date was as Future Man/John Mapplethorpe in the 1996 Owen Wilson/Wes Anderson movie Bottle Rocket. He also appeared in Anderson's Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums. He appeared opposite brother Owen in the 2004 remake of The Big Bounce. Most recently he appeared in Mike Judge's Idiocracy as gladiator, Beef Supreme.
